Varicose veins are an illness predominately affecting the veins in the leg.
For various reasons, the veins widen, dilate and become twisted. This causes problems with blood circulation which can be very harmful to one?s health.
This is not simply an esthetic problem. Sufferers feel heaviness in the legs and abdomen, cramps, itchiness and even strong pain, and there may be discoloration and ulceration of the skin.
One in ten people suffer from varicose veins, which are more common in women.

The conference aims to give information on the prevention, diagnosis and various treatment options for this illness.
