Next Tuesday, April 24, HOSPITEN Sur took place the first informative meeting on Vascular Diseases for English speaking patients residing in the Canaries.
The meeting was open to everyone and was organized by Professor Manuel Maynar and his team, who treated the most common vascular disorders and their possible treatments, with a special focus on the ?minimally invasive? endovascular applications.
Heart attack, stroke, peripheral vascular disease and abdominal aortic aneurysm were central topics of the meeting.
More than 40 participants to the meeting were able to ask questions and clarify any doubts they may have on these subjects with the team of doctors with most experience in this field in the country, as they have been pioneers in many of the endovascular operations in Spain, such as the angioplasty, the implanting of an endo-prosthesis in an abdominal aortic aneurysm, among others.
