
The American Government has designated HOSPITEN Cancun as the official Hospital for the delegation that attended the Mexican city in regard to the ASPAN reunion. In this reunion Vicente Fox and George W. Bush, Presidents of Mexico and the US, as well as Stephen Harper, First Minister of Canada, were discussing subjects in reference to the migration and the security in between the past March 30 and 31.
To mark the celebration of this event, during previous months, several different American State departments as the Medical Unit of the Whitehouse, FBI and Secret Service have been inspecting HOSPITEN Cancun, focusing not only in the installations but technology and medical personnel. As a result, they determined that HOSPITEN Cancun was the hospital that, located in that area of the country, was the best one in conditions to convert itself as the reference hospital centre facing the necessary medical security to President George W. Bush and his workteam.
HOSPITEN Cancun has installations and equipments of high technology, as well as excellent specialities as Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Angiology and Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery, having the highest standards in quality. Moreover the centre counts with 45 beds, 2 operating rooms, 1 delivery room, Intensive Care Unity, High Medical Technology (Magnetic Resonance, Cat, 4d Ultrasound), Emergency, Clinical Analysis Laboratory and Radiology.
HOSPITEN Cancun has been audited and certified by AENOR, getting the Quality Certificate under the International Regulation ISO 9001:2000, as a result of passing with success the audits made to all medical-hospital services. Besides it has also obtained the Quality Certificate ISO 14001 related to the correct environmental management.
