1969.- Doctor Celestino Cobiella Zaera opened the Clínica Bellevue in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife - Spain) - which now bears the name HOSPITEN BELLEVUE - being the Group's oldest medical centre. An ambitious renovation project - which saw the centre overhauled and converted into the modern hospital it is today - was completed in 2004.
1984.- The Centro Internacional de Salud Playa de Las Américas - now known as HOSPITEN SUR - was founded in Playa de las Américas (Tenerife). It was intended to meet healthcare demands in the south of Tenerife. To this end, the centre has not ceased to grow, incorporating and consolidating important medical services such as haemodynamics.
