Digestive Disease Courses

Since 2001, HOSPITEN's Digestive Department has organised a Monographic Course on conditions affecting the Digestive System. It is held annually in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in November, and lasts two days.

Over the last few years, various topics have been discussed, with the participation of experts from Spanish, European and North American universities and hospitals.

The Course is essentially intended for doctors, nursing staff and healthcare students. The aim of the Course is to provide an in-depth review of the different themes - from physiopathology to diagnosis and treatment - by renowned experts in each field.

VII Digestive Disease Course: Irritable Bowel Syndrome

The past 23-24th of November 2007 took place the VII Monographic Course on Conditions affecting the Digestive System, organised by HOSPITEN's Digestive Department,  at the Hotel Botánico Hotel in Puerto de la Cruz de Tenerife. The topic was Irritable Bowel Syndrome, to which internationally reknown experts gave conferences about the latest update on this pathology.


VI Digestive Disease Course: Celiac Disease

The VIth Monographic Course on Conditions affecting the Digestive System, organised by HOSPITEN's Digestive Department, was held at the Hotel Botánico Hotel in Puerto de la Cruz de Tenerife on 24th and 25th November 2006, about Celiac Disease.


 

V Digestive Course 2005: Pancreas Update

The Monographic Course on Conditions affecting the Digestive System was hold on 4th and 5th November 2005, about Pancreatic Pathology.


IV Digestive Course 2004: Crohn's Disease

The IVth Monographic Course on Conditions affecting the Digestive System, organised by HOSPITEN's Digestive Department, was held at the Mencey Sheraton Hotel in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 19th and 20th November 2004, and the topic was Crohn's Disease.
